YQN Empowers the United Nations Aid in Southeast Asia

to Complete the Last-mile Delivery

In May this year, YQN received a thank-you letter from a customer. The customer began the letter by saying, "The destination of this project's distribution is up to 16 locations, spread across various islands and regions in the Philippines. Because the Philippines is an island nation with a lagging logistics network, the execution difficulty of this project was extremely high..."

Last year, this customer received a commission from the United Nations Development Programme to find an international logistics service provider in China to transport 300 sets of power generators to 16 destinations within the Philippines. This project involved container loading, sea freight, customs clearance in the Philippines, warehousing, and distribution of hundreds of equipment sets, requiring a high level of service from the logistics service provider.

After communicating with multiple logistics service providers without satisfactory solutions, the customer finally found us, YQN. Based on our global network and professional service quality, the two parties reached a cooperation agreement. The entire project was completed through the collaboration of the YQN Chinese team and the YQN Philippines team.

YQN Global Branch Offices

Based on the customer's requirements and our familiarity with the local transportation environment and geography, YQN developed a complete and detailed solution for the customer. We specified 7 inland points and 9 island destinations, and planned the most reasonable transportation methods along with predicted transportation durations. Furthermore, we had a clear idea of the quantity, size, and specific goods to be received at each destination to ensure all transportation tasks were standardized, reliable, and controllable. Seeing the solution we smoothly developed, the customer finally felt a sense of relief.

"The main difficulty of this project lies within the Philippines, where the road environment is unique and complex. It requires various resources to complete the entire transportation process," explained the person in charge of the YQN Chinese team. Once the goods entered the port of Manila in the Philippines, the real challenges officially began.

As the Philippines is an island nation, there is both maritime and land transportation. Hundreds of cardboard boxes departed from the port to the local warehouses, then were transported to dispersed destinations across islands and inland points. And we also need to coordinate with the customer to do many additional works such as cargo opening and acceptance inspection.

YQN Philippines team provided ample local resources, while the Chinese team coordinated the overall network resources to ensure smooth transportation to the Philippines’ destinations.

The customer was deeply impressed by YQN logistics service and wrote us a thank-you letter, " It is your professional competence, patience, attention to detail, and fearless attitude towards challenges that ensured the successful and timely delivery of this project for our company. We look forward to more extensive cooperation between our two parties in the future."

YQN once again proved our professional and reliable services, allowing the customer to be more worry-free and at ease.
